Our Connect Groups mainly gather in private homes providing the opportunity for participants to share and support one another in their spiritual journey. While it is recognised that each individual’s spiritual walk is a uniquely personal experience between them and God, the Lord has created us to be in relationship with others. Connect Groups are therefore relational in their focus where individual diversity is honoured for its ability to bring about a fuller more varied expression of collective life. Connect Groups follow a programme in which participants are asked to explore spiritual teachings and principles drawn from the Bible with a view to making personal connections between these and their experience of them in their daily lives. The insights participants gain through this process, into themselves, the Lord’s operation in their lives and the nature of their relationships to others, forms the core material for doing ongoing personal spiritual work on themselves. Participants then use this as the basis for what they bring to the group to share. Participants are left in complete freedom as to what they choose to share with others in their Life Group.
